While perusing the interwebs I came across emily’s blog, a friend of mine from high school. At one of our (mine and Lydia’s) clothes sales, she bought one of the shirts I printed in my first year. In school I was always envious of emily’s effortlessly cool style, and I was tres excited to see my shirt on such an amazingly cute lady. That linocut was my very first Printmaking project and basically made me fall in love with the medium.
My giant Typography project is finished! Here is a sneak peak of the illustrations I made
for my publication. I get to pick it up tomorrow and I am so excited to see how it looks!
So last week I realized that I only have two more weeks left of the semester! I am so excited for summer, but madly trying to get all of my projects done. Anyways, Lydia and I found out that we are going to be playing at a coffee shop at the end of the month so naturally I thought making a poster for that was more important than any homework. I drew sketches, scanned them into Illustrator, and colored them. Pretty simple but a really good way to make doodles look more professional.
ALSO officially one month until PARIS!
